Feet-Related New Year's Resolutions for 2022

Feet-Related New Year's Resolutions for 2022

New Year’s resolutions are great for setting goals for yourself and a great way to measure progress or growth throughout the year.

While many people adopt lofty, sometimes unattainable, goals for themselves, we’re here to offer you some feet-related resolutions that we believe are a walk in the park.

Remember, find a resolution that’s meaningful to you and not what others tell you to do. Yes, we’re here offering you different options, but the team here at FootFitter isn’t telling you what you should do. That decision is yours and only yours.

With that being said, here’s some resolution ideas you could adopt in 2022.

Go on More Walks

If you found yourself to be of a bit of a couch potato last year, then maybe consider going on more walks.

Start off by walking around the block once a week, then ramp it up to multiple walks every week. And once you establish a rhythm, maybe go for a walk every day.

There’s no denying the power of going for a walk. Getting some fresh air can do wonders for your health, both physically and mentally.

And as a source of motivation, you should buy yourself a pair of shoes that you’ve been wanting to buy if you reach your walking goals.

Establish a Foot Care Routine

If you’re thinking about being kinder to your feet this year, maybe establishing a foot care routine is the right resolution for you.

This can be as simple as soaking your feet in some warm water and Epsom salt every other day, treating yourself to a pedicure every month or simply putting lotion or a foot balm on your feet every night.

Establishing a routine can benefit you both physically and mentally. Routines help create balance in your life and help us cope with changes in our lives, no matter how big or small they may be.

Care for Your Shoes More Often

We’ve been talking a lot about taking care of your feet, but don’t forget to take care of your footwear as well.

Whether they’re leather shoes or nice sneakers, maybe make it a routine to give your footwear a nice clean or polishing every week or every month, depending on how beat up your shoes get.

FootFitter offers an array of premium shoe polishes and brushes to keep your leather goods in tip-top shape. Our sister brand, X Sneaker Care, also has a variety of cleaners for your sneakers.
