How to Use the FootFitter High Heel Boot Stretcher

Before You Begin...

1. The toe block (C) must be fully closed. Turn the widening handle (A) counterclockwise to close the toe block.

2. The boot stretcher comes with 2 spot stretching plugs (D) for corns, bunions, and other pressure points. If you need to spot stretch any particular areas, these plugs must be inserted prior to stretching the boot.

3. This device stretched solely the width of the toe box. If you need to stretch the boot instep or shaft, feel free to explore our boot stretchers to find specialized stretchers that will address your needs.

  • Step 1:

Apply shoe stretch spray to the inside of your boot to relax the material for stretching. Alternatively, you can wipe the inside of the boot with a cloth saturated in shoe stretch spray.

  • Step 2:

If needed, insert the spot stretching plugs into the corresponding plug slots on the toe block prior to stretching.

  • Step 3:

Insert the toe block into the toe box of your boot. Make sure to wedge it in far enough that the toe block touches the end of the toe box.

  • Step 4:

To widen the boot, turn the widening handle clockwise to expand the toe block. Once snug, turn 2 to 3 more times for a proper stretch.

  • Step 5:

Once your desired width settings are set, leave the stretcher in your boot for at least 6 to 8 hours.

  • Step 6:

To remove the stretcher, turn the widening handle counterclockwise to close the toe block and pull the stretcher out slowly.
